Brand identity is the visible elements of a brand, such as color, design, and logo, that identify and distinguish the brand in consumers' minds. A company’s visual identity is their fingerprint to the world.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Scruff & Vigor is a lifestyle brand & digital magazine that reflects an incisive, trend-aware, citizen-of-the-world, devil-may-care, & savvy perspective on style, culture, politics, music, travel, and the art of everyday life. I created a logo that represented the fashion elements as well as using strong typography to convey the message of trust and integrity within the brand.
Roadrunner bar and grill is a sports bar atmosphere with 5-star food located on the Gene Torres Golf Course in Las Vegas, New Mexico. You can enjoy your favorite football game or for a date night featuring items from their delicious menu. I crafted a brand refresh that would be a reflection of their business environment and their service to their community.
EDo (East Downtown) is a small but expanding neighborhood centered on Central and Broadway on the east side of the railroad tracks, bounded roughly by the railroad tracks on the west, I-25 on the east, Coal on the south, and Martin Luther King Avenue on the north. EDo is a trendy area containing several loft apartment buildings and a number of small shops and restaurants. The focal point of EDo is the renovated Old Albuquerque High School campus, which is now a residential complex. This newly renovated and historic district needed a branding and while created this project I was inspired by many historic elements such as architecture in the area.
Disciple Air was a faux airline to support Calvary Church’s award winning series “Bible from 30,000 Feet” and was branded to entail the gospel teaching of the bibles into a commercial airline. The simple elements and calm color palette helped translate the scripture messages for four weeks. Distinct typography helped create a logo that was modern yet expressive.
Nestled in the Village Shops at Los Ranchos on the newly revitalized 4th Street in the North Valley, Café 6855 is a wonderful place for all-day breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The rebrand was inspired by the upscale-casual ambiance, exceptional food preparation that includes fresh ingredients by the award-winning Vernon’s Speakeasy culinary team. The color palette resembled the colors of the fresh ingredients used.
